Being informed will help you know when it is time to seek our professional services.

  • In-Toeing: This is a genetic deformity caused by the baby being continually in a rotated position while in utero. In-toeing is also known as “pigeon toe” and is a common condition in growing children that can add to future problems if left untreated. In-Toeing can be caused by hip, lower leg or foot problems. We can evaluate all of them at the Mill Creek Foot & Ankle Clinic.
  • Out-Toeing: Is the turned out position of a child’s foot while walking. Out-toeing is also known as “duck feet” and can be caused by either a position held in utero or could be due to an underlying neurological problem. It can lead to pain and disability as the child grows into an adult.
  • Severs Disease/Apophysitis: Heel pain in children, most common in active children 10-14 years of age. It is caused by irritation to the child’s heel growth plate due to abnormal forces around the heel causing an inflammation of the growth plate.
  • Flat Feet
  • Bunions (Bone Deformities)
